The combined course will be useful for Residents (Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroadiology), practicing Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, and Neuroradiologists to improve their knowledge about stroke pathologies and treatments, with a focus on the overlap Stroke Neurology and Vascular Neurosurgery.

Learning Objectives:

  • At the end of the session the participant will be able to discuss potential indications for intracranial stenting in intracranial atherosclerotic/steno-occlusive disease.
  • At the end of the session the participant will be able to discuss potential endovascular thrombectomy-associated complications how to mange them.
  • At the end of the session the participant will be able to describe Moyamoya disease/syndrome, its natural history, diagnosis, and surgical management options.
  • At the end of the session the participant will be able to discuss the latest updates in the surgical management of intracerebral hemorrhage.
