Industry Supported Session
This session is a multi-disciplinary audience interactive case-based program that will provide an overview of the ATTR amyloidosis disease spectrum, and discuss the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with ATTR. The session will help the audience understand the challenges related to the diagnosis and treatment of ATTR amyloidosis, and will provide fundamental knowledge of current and emerging therapeutic approaches.
This event, chaired by Dr. Michelle Mezei (Division of Neurology, University of British Columbia), will highlight the importance of a multi-disciplinary approach to the management of ATTR patients, and will include Dr. Sami Khella (Department of Neurology, University of Pennsylvania) and Dr. Deigo Delgado (Division of Cardiology, University of Toronto) to facilitate a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary discussion. Through a case-based approach, the panel will provide their perspective and discuss the importance of collaboration between neurologists and cardiologists in the management of ATTR amyloidosis.
This program was developed by the CNSF and AstraZeneca and was planned to achieve scientific integrity, objectivity and balance. It is an unaccredited learning activity and not eligible for MOC credits.
