Neurosurgery Residents' Course: Neuroanatomy/Radiology Review

Neuroanatomy review focused on relevant surgical anatomy. The neuroradiology review will be co-presented with neurosurgery and neuroradiology. The focus will be application of neuroimaging to clinical scenarios and will include imaging techniques, use, and interpretation. The morning will conclude with relevant case review and discussion between participants and panel members.

Learning Objectives:

  • List and describe relevant anatomy of common neurosurgical approaches.
  • Review approptiate usage of different neuroimaging modalities/techniques, and apply correct imaging modality selection and interpretation to clinical scenarios.
  • Review key clinical pearls/pitfalls of relevant topics in neurosurgical anatomy and neuroimaging.
